Wrinkle Reduction Injections

Wrinkles are a fact of life for us all, but due to Aesthetic advancements, there are ways you can prevent some of these wrinkles from forming. At Pembroke Dermal, we have a vast range of treatments to fight back from the aging process.

It is essential to understand the case of your wrinkles to narrow down the right skin treatment for you. Wrinkles typically happen with age because your skin cell division slows, and the inner layer of your skin begins to thin. This thinning leads to loose, weakened skin which is susceptible to wrinkles. Wrinkle reduction injections using modern products and technologies allow us to achieve results using non-surgical techniques that rival the surgical alternative with the bonuses of reduced downtime and cost.

When it comes to injecting your face, you must choose a trusted partner that has extensive experience and clinical knowledge in administrating Botox injects and fillers. At Pembroke Dermal, the treatment is administered by Dr. Brenda Barrett, a dentist with more than 20 years of experience and over 10 years of experience in facial aesthetics. She is a perfectionist, an artist that demonstrates unrivalled levels of confidence and dexterity when injecting the face, giving you complete confidence that your treatment is safe and will be effective.

According to Irish Dentistry "considering all the professionals we train in facial aesthetic, it is always the dentist that starts when it comes to injecting."

We use a high range of muscle relaxants which include; Dysport, Botox and Azzalure. The relaxant is gently injected in small quantities to help smooth lines in the following areas:

  • Eye Area (Crows Feet)
  • Frown Lines
  • Neck Area
  • Chin
  • Bunny Lines (Upper Nose)

A treatment session consists of a few tiny needles pinches which relax the muscle that causes lines to form. We recommend a treatment every 3-4 months. Repeat treatments have been shown to have a longer effect, up to 6 months. The non-permanent and incremental nature of cosmetic injectables often provides patients with a renewed sense of confidence and reassurance without the need for more invasive surgical treatments.
