Oral Surgery & Oral Medicine

Our Oral Surgeons

We pride ourselves in attracting and retaining top visiting specialists in Dentistry including leading specialist Oral Surgeons, Dr. Kate Farrell and Dr. Daphne Halley.

If you require a visit to an Oral Surgeon, the reason for your referral will be explained in detail by your dentist. An Oral Surgeon is a dentist specialist trained to handle dental implants, oral medicine, facial pain and complex oral surgical procedures such as wisdom teeth removal.

Our range of oral surgery treatments include…

  • Wisdom teeth extraction

  • Soft tissue biopsy for suspicious lesions

  • Removal of soft tissue frenae eg lingual frenum ‘tongue-tie’

  • Removal of retained roots or impacted or buried teeth

At Pembroke Dental there is no need to be nervous, you will receive outstanding care in the hands of our specialists and patient focused support team, who will from your very first visit do everything to ensure your experience is comfortable, informative and stress-free.

If you are a patient who is nervous about having a procedure despite our reassurance and care, we offer conscious sedation such as intravenous sedation. This allows you to relax during the procedure by helping control your anxiety making the experience more pleasant.

Our Oral Surgeons are fully participant with private health insurers such as VHI, Aviva and Laya Healthcare.

Dentists who refer their patients to Pembroke Specialists for Oral Surgery can have complete peace of mind that their patients will receive outstanding treatment at the hands of our specialist Oral Surgeons.

As a referring dentist, you will receive regular reporting, both during and following completion of the oral surgery procedure, at which point your patient will be referred back to you with our thanks. Our patient care coordinators are also available should you require any additional information.
